My wife and I took a drive to South Carolina (going to CompUSA to get RAM and stuff) and I noticed that South Carolina must be the Real Estate Sign capital of the world.

They put real estate signs every 200 feet along the highways, advertising communities and houses that are no where close nor in sight. 

The real estate boom seems to be in full swing in South Carolina still.  Its not like the upside down world of California or Florida, but more on par with Scottsdale real estate.  Regardless I think they could benefit from a little self control (and zoning) because they probably kill as many trees with frivolous real estate signs as they do with actual houses!
