We remodelled most of our kitchen last spring, took out a wall, reclaimed a closet and put in an oven in the wall, an new fridge and a large island 5' x 6' with a cook top stove in the middle.  New unstained cabinets, new counter tops, and sink.

We need to finish staining, and put down tile floor.

Then we have to redo the lighting in the kitchen (plus outside on the porches).  I need to get ideas on what I might do for lighting in a kitchen over a large island? 
I did see some stuff here in the Kitchen lighting section.
