Loose Power Connector

I've got a perfectly good laptop with a brand new battery, but its driving me nuts. Its about 3 years old and has a slightly loose power connector. The thing will be plugged in but it won't receive any juice. I prop up a rubber dice just so under the power cord and it will sometimes charge and stay powered up. 
I found a description of this type of problem at Dell Inspiron 5150 repair. This company AbsoluteRaleigh specializes in fixing this problem.

While searching for someone to repair the power connector on my laptop I ran across your post. I also found a web site where they fix this problem for about 100 dollars at Comprehensive Computing. I'm going to send my Dell off to them. If you want, I can let you know how it goes! Keep up the cool blog, man!
